MVP reinforced last week's promise to Dixie by once again getting involved in the proceedings in Manchester, England, by not only raising the stakes of Dixie's briefcase match between Gunner and EC3, but also stepping in when Magnus, and subsequently James Storm, interfered. He then arranged for the
complaining Bro-Mans & Zema Ion to fight his first signings The Wolves and Samoa Joe. After Spud tried to taunt him, he fought him in the ring, easily beating him.
complaining Bro-Mans & Zema Ion to fight his first signings The Wolves and Samoa Joe. After Spud tried to taunt him, he fought him in the ring, easily beating him.
Impact began with Dixie and her gang taking to the ring, Magnus insults the Manchester crowd, telling them he is so happy that he only has to go there once a year. He then moves on to insulting MVP, saying that he doesn't know who he is, or what jail cell he came from. Magnus creates a pecking order in TNA: 1) World Champion, 2) TNA President, 3) everyone nipping at his heels, then 4) MVP.
MVP's music then hits the arena, with the investor entering with the new #1 Contender, Samoa Joe. MVP starts by insulting the World Champion as well as Dixie, before telling everyone that at Lockdown, old friends Joe and Magnus will fight for the Heavyweight belt. Then Gunner appears, holding his Feast or Fired briefcase, and tells everyone that Magnus has seven days before he fights him, with the winner to then face Joe at Lockdown.
Then Dixie dropped her bombshell: Gunner must fight EC3 for his briefcase. But MVP steps in and raises the stakes as he puts "C3PO"'s (as MVP calls Ethan Carter the Third) briefcase, with a Tag Title shot also up for grabs. MVP suggests putting both briefcases in the air, with a Ladder Match in a winner take all match. MVP ends saying that any tricks from Carter will bring him back out to level the playing field.
World Title/Tag Team Titles Shot - Ladder Match - Gunner vs. Ethan Carter III
The two exchange blows, both inside and outside the ring. EC3 gets the upper hand when he steps out of the way, allowing Gunner to go headfirst into the ladder. EC3 sets the ladder and starts his climb, only for Gunner to Powerbomb him off the ladder. With EC3 down, Gunner can easily climb. But out comes Magnus to shove him off the ladder, before beating the hell out of him. With Gunner up against it, the Cowboy James Storm, with whom he made amends, came out to even the odds. MVP, as he promised, stops the fight, before treating EC3 & Magnus as the act - by calling them a team, before continuing the match as a Tag Team Match for both briefcases.
WINNER - NO CONTEST
World Title/Tag Team Titles Shot - Ladder Match - Gunner & "Cowboy" James Storm vs. Ethan Carter III & Magnus
It all starts well for Storm & Gunner, nailing EC3 with the ladder. As Gunner climbs the ladder, Magnus pulls him down and is all over him. EC3, meanwhile, shoves Storm into the ring steps on the outside. EC3 & Magnus then team up on Gunner, wearing him down. With him then on the canvas, EC3 starts climbing, until Magnus stops him and starts climbing himself. After this repeatedly happens, Storm is in and takes them both out. After both EC3 and Magnus fail to stop him, Storm and Magnus both end up on the floor. EC3's attack on Gunner ends when Gunner manages to climb the ladder and pull down the briefcases.
WINNER - Storm & Gunner, via pulling down briefcases
Backstage, Bro-Mans complain to Dixie about Gunner & Storm's title shot, after their "bro-greement" with EC3 to not cash in the briefcase. Spud is on the flood with tape splitting Dixie's and MVP's office in half, before ensuring the Bro-Mans that all is under control. MVP gatecrashes, telling the meeting that Dixie's control is slipping. After an exchange, MVP tells the Bro-Mans that they have a match, tonight, against his men, The Wolves. It will be Bro-Mans and Zema against The Wolves and a mystery partner, but they must go to ring right away.
6-Man Tag Team Match - Bro-Mans & Zema Ion vs. The Wolves (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards) & "Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe
MVP's team start the better, with all three having Jesse's head slammed onto theirs. The Bro-Mans get their chance after Davey turned his back on Robbie when Zema occupied his mind. Robbie has numerous attacks on Davey, but when Joe and Zema tag in, the Samoan is all over him. A pin attempt is stopped by both Bro-Mans, but The Wolves are in to take them out, hitting a Double Suicide Dive through the ropes onto Robbie and Jessie. Joe manages to get behind Zema, locking in the Coquina Clutch forcing Zema to tap out.
WINNERS - The Wolves & Joe, via submission
Velvet is backstage and stops Dixie and MVP arguing by requesting them to call off her match, but Dixie says that is what she is paid for. MVP asks Dixie if she is really okay with a man facing a woman. Dixie says that she wishes MVP was still wrestling so someone could put him through the table, only to be told that he isn't wrestling as he is tidying up her mess. Spud interjects, saying that the real reason is that he's washed up. MVP answers by setting up a match with Spud.
Abyss is in the ring, saying how he didn't want it like this, but his "good buddy" Eric Young wanted to prove Abyss & Joseph Park were one. Abyss screams at EY to come out, which he does, before cautiously entering the ring. Abyss tells EY he can't be that guy anymore and needs help, which EY offers. Abyss screams at him, not wanting his help, wanting someone who truly understands him, before walking out, alone.
MVP vs. Rockstar Spud
After Spud hesitantly enters the ring, he attacks the bigger man as he tries to get in. He puts MVP in a headlock, hits a series of kicks/punches and finally rakes his eyes. MVP gets on top with a cross chop and Facebreaker. a Ballin' Elbow Drop, then Driveby Kick, gives MVP the pinfall
WINNER - MVP, via pinfall
Roode demands a title shot which he thinks Dixies owes her, but she says that he lost to Joe and all he is is a sore loser. Roode freaks out, leaving a trail of carnage.
Velvet Sky vs. Chris Sabin
Sabin mocks Velvet's entrance, then allows her to have the first shot. She kicks him in the knee, and as he stands up, in the nuts. He pulls a cup out from his pants, calling her stupid. With his back turned, he eats a low blow in the same area. With Sabin on the floor, she punches repeatedly, until a huge woman walks out and tosses her away.
WINNER - NO CONTEST
This woman is all over Velvet. Sabin then covers her and the woman, British wrestler Alpha Female, makes the count.
Backstage, Bully Ray has Anderson's phone, calls his someone, obviously his wife, and taunts her that he will end Anderson's life.
Main Event - Casket Match - Bully Ray vs. Mr Anderson
Once Bully removes his hoodie, a Liverpool FC jersey is revealed. Anderson Spears Bully and after more shots, he pulls the jersey off him, before choking him with it. A chair charge at Bully ends with it in Anderson's face, but only for Bully's own attack to end with a chair in his face. Anderson gets a table in the ring, only to eat a bot from Bully, busting his lip open. Bully is all over him, wiping his own face in Ken's blood. Bully puts the casket in the ring, whilst Anderson climbs onto the ropes. Bully follows him and Superplexes him off the top. Anderson is tossed into the casket, but the lid is blocked from being sealed. Bully instead hits him with the lid, but as he goes to use a chair, is hit in the balls. He comes back with Powerbombing Anderson through the table. Once again, Anderson is in the casket, before trying a Piledriver in the casket. Anderson counters into a Mic Check, sending Bully head first into the casket, then closing the lid.
WINNER - Anderson, via sealing the casket.

He suggests that at Lethal Lockdown, two teams of four, MVP's vs. Dixie's, with the winner assuming complete control over wrestling operations. Dixie wants his shares, MVP her control. Dixie agrees to his match.
